MAKING HISTORY AND TEACHING.

"UNUSUAL MANUSCRIPT OF INCALCULABLE HISTORICAL VALUE". Yesterday morning, someone with whom I hadn't been speaking for 10 years,  for some reasons that are no longer important, confirmed that he gave me access to an unpublished and autobiographical manuscript of a certain person who lived the Spanish Civil War and the Francoist repression. As Historian, specialist in Contemporary History, the information contained in these notebooks is priceless. As a teacher, I was very excited to be able to confirm to 5 former students of the 1st evaluation that if the Franco regime falls in that important exam, whose numbers will serve them as a toll to the university, and  they finish it with the information that I extract from there, they will astonished at correctors. MISS. The icy January air cut her skin. She was walking as fast as she could to try to reduce the cold. She had missed the last bus because of the stupid rule that forced her to scrub the classroom floor with hot water once a week. They thought a young woman should not be alone at this time in the dark on a secondary road. And less if she was a teacher. But she did not mind doing it. She thought the others thought it too, but she did not care what they thought. She thought she should be scared; but she was not, even though her only weapon of defense was the heavy leather briefcase with which she carried daily. She also thought she might run into the Civil Guard, who was still looking for the escapees in the mountains, and she thought that with a little luck she would soon be home.
